The awards evening is the flagship event in the franchising calendar and getting a nomination in itself is a major achievement, proving the business works ethically and in the best interests of franchisees and staff, fighting off many other companies vying for the accolade.
The accolade was awarded to énergie Fitness following a network-wide rebrand from Fit4Less to énergie Fitness, the introduction of ‘thé YARD’, énergie’s exclusive in-club boutique fitness concept, and a fantastic ‘Take the Stage’ programme developed for gym owners and team members across our network, training them to deliver a world-class service to every gym member on a daily basis.
Neil King, CEO of énergie Fitness commented: “The team at énergie Fitness goes the extra mile to raise brand awareness and create a unique identity in the health and fitness industry. We will continue to push boundaries and implement strategies that help our network.
“The fact our efforts have been recognised by the British Franchise Association is a really excellent endorsement of our efforts.”
Pip Wilkins, CEO of the British Franchise Association, added: “All the finalists have shown excellence in innovation, but the judges were truly impressed with énergie Fitness’ rehaul of its identity to adapt to society.”
Andy Brattesani, UK Head of Franchising at HSBC, says: “A huge well done to énergie Fitness for winning this award. They have earned it by showing innovation in brand strategy, and implementing this thoughtfully throughout the network.”
To win the Brand Awareness & Innovation category, énergie Fitness beat a shortlist consisting of o2, The Christmas Decorators, and OSCAR Pet Foods.
