Fitness franchisor the énergie Group has partnered with Warner Bros. to promote the eagerly anticipated box office film Creed – The Rocky Legacy.

The role as a UK partner will see all énergie clubs taking part in promotional activity, as well as offering an exclusive incentive to current and new members in the form of £1000 worth of goodies and merchandise up for grabs.

This partnership creates a fantastic opportunity for énergie  franchisees to promote their clubs in conjunction with a major movie. The multi-channel marketing campaign across social media, digital direct mail and in-club promotional materials will run throughout January, providing an added commercial boost to énergie franchisees in what is traditionally the strongest month for fitness club membership sales.

Group Marketing Manager at énergie Group Kavita Lal commented: “We are delighted to form this partnership with Warner Bros. to promote the upcoming Creed film. It is a chance for our members to be a part of something really exciting, as well as providing prospective members with a great incentive to join us.”

énergie has a history of partnering with big box office films, having previously linked up with Paramount Pictures to promote the smash hit Terminator Genisys, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Hercules starring Dwayne Johnson (aka The Rock).

Creed is a sports drama film starring Sylvester Stallone and Michael B. Jordan. The most recent addition to the popular Rocky series, Creed follows the son of Apollo Creed as he travels to Philadelphia to be trained by Stallone’s iconic Rocky Balboa. The film has been a critical success and is set to be a box office smash hit, so this partnership is an exciting move for the énergie brand.
